Why surfs have to get 'real'? - Commentary from Review of Gladitor

Hello all,
Let me be very open with all of you. Here's a breakdown of incoming and outgoing funds for the past 3 days:

June 26th:
Incoming- $3,820
Paid out- $2,988.6

June 27th
Incoming- $7,567.5
Paid out- $11,462.2

June 28th
Incoming- $3,530
Paid out- $865.5

June 29th
Incoming(current)- $970
Paid out- TBA. But roughly over $6,500 for members who qualify. Including members who do not qualify it would be close to $15,000.

During the last 2 weeks I was averaging over $10,000 a day in payments and not even 25% of funds come back in. If it wasn't for my reserve fund GS would have shut down last month. I have approximately $7,000 pending in various other programs that are also late(please keep in mind that I am not a member of 13dp). Since most of us understand how this industry works, I am not hesitant to divulge this information to all of you. Many other programs are also showing signs of slowing down. I'm sure they too are experiencing the same issues. Out of consideration for all of you, I continue to send you updates. I also hope all of you now realize how important it is to truly support a program. I thank all those who have been with GS from the very beginning. I am still here and will continue to make payments as funds come in regardless of how slow it may be. Hopefully once people start coming back from their vacations, the surf industry will pick up again. I also hope that people will know that GS and its members are not quitters.

I am open to any suggestion. Please feel free to start a discussion in the forums.

Michael
GS admin

First, I like Michael's frankness. This is the kind of people we need and he got it - honesty. Bravo and I need to comment on other aspects which need to be improved.

As a surf's program grows, and it needs to rely less on members' upgrades for payouts if it wants to live a long life. If it does not do it, I recommend the admin should not be contemplating running a surf program because it is a matter of time upgrades will dry up, and the program struggles to pay out.

There has to be good EXTERNAL SOURCES of income. If it depends on riding other surfs, there is a problem here for Gladiator. Gladiator boxed itself by having one of the highest yields in town - 75% monthly ROI after taking into account 48 hours for payout. Also it has to pay out referral fees. In other words, it has to increase its yields by 90% every month to be on the safe side. With such a scenario, it is no wonder it will run into problems as Michael seeks members' support now. The ROI from investments or ventures by the admin has to be GREATER than the return promised to members. It is that simple and yet and time again, we see admins promising more than what they cannot deliver ultimately. Are there genuine programs or investments which can derive a good return - yes there are, and it is up to every admin of a program to figure it out how to grow its ROI from its own business minus members' upgrades. In short, get real and this industry can grow further with such genuineness.

In other words, when members' upgrades dry up, the external income is not so forthcoming, problems arise. Face it, the arithmetic here is not right. The alternative is to seek a change in ROI by adjusting the yield or payout period, and I would recommend this if it only has a sound and well-crafted plan. Otherwise, seek a reasonable ROI right from the beginning and stick to it.

Well, I wish Gladiator all the best and I am still rooting for it to continue. It is a pity to see a good program go especially with an honest admin at its helm. Not all is lost on this program and if it can move forward if it thinks its plan carefully and rework it. Good luck.

Autosurfs.biz - Innovative HYIP on Autosurf Concept

I just read this interesting HYIP which works on concept of equity value. I am quickly impressed by the novelty. Such is the creativity we are looking for in the world of HYIP and AS. This is run by Rob, admin of alertpaypro and autosurfingpro. Immediately I signed on it and wished I did it earlier cos I was alerted yesterday. Only now, I got the time to examine, and knowing cardinal rule of demand and supply, supply of surf-packs are short here, hence price will go up! Read here from Rob, the admin:
The First Letter From The Admin:
In the past month we have seen quite a few well known autosurfs go out of business and dozens and dozens of less popular surfs have also bit the dust. Last night, I personally rewrote an autosurf script with an idea of mine that has been brewing for months. If you check the alertpaypro.com forum you will notice a few posts made by myself mentioning a mutual surf. I stayed up for the last 48 hours writing and re-writing and tweaking this script because I saw yet another major autosurf go out of business and take a lot of members money. As you know we here at http://alertpaypro.com and http://autosurfingpros.com have always done everything we can to keep our members safe and steer them in the right direction so that they do not get scammed. We believe that our new mutual surf program has eliminated all of the risked associated with the autosurf industry.

Please read below slowly and carefully, this is not a letter that you should skim through. Do not ask us questions about this. If you do not understand the program then it is not for you.

In our continuing effort to revolutionize the autosurf industry, we are offering a new, unique and innovative program. http://autosurfs.biz.
The mission of this program is to provide services which will prevent members from losing money on autosurfs.
Here is a brief overview of how it works:
Members may purchase an amount of mutual surf packs. Each Surf Pack as a certain value. We will say $5.00 per Surf Pack for use of our example.
Members may purchase any amount of Surf Packs up to the max which is displayed on the site.
Here is a quick sample of how things would work live:
member1 purchases 10 Surf Packs at $5 each = $50
member2 purchases 20 Surf Packs at $5 each = $100
member3 purchases 50 Surf Packs at $5 each = $250

We than place this money into autosurf programs (which will be listed at http://autosurfs.biz/forum - our portfolio)
Members (you) decide where and how much is placed. There will be an exclusive forum which will be placed at http://autosurfs.biz. The more Surf Packs a member has the more say they have in the company.

So, for example we now have $400 total in the system with 80 Surf Packs purchased.
We take the $400 and divide it between the programs listed on http://autosurfs.biz/forum. Lets say there are ten programs.
To make this example easy we will just say that each program is 10% daily for 20 days. We place 40 in each program and after 20 days should get back 800 dollars = $400 profit. The admin takes 10%, and 10% is placed back into Surf Pack value (more later) leaving $320 profit. This $320 is then given back to members in the form of dividends - $320 / 80 (total number of Surf Packs) = $4.00 dividend per Surf Pack owned.
member1 gets $4.00 X 10Surf Packs = $40
member2 gets $4.00 X 20Surf Packs = $80
member3 gets $4.00 X 50Surf Packs = $200

So all the members profited. And still own their Surf Packs!

Now remember above 10% was going back to Surf Pack value, what does this mean.
The 10% = $40 is placed back into the total Surf Pack value $40 / 80 Surf Packs = .50 per Surf Pack. The value of the Surf Pack just rose from $5.00 to $5.50!

So let's say member1 could now continue and wait for another dividend or sell his 10 Surf Packs back at $5.50 each giving him $55 + he earned $40 from the dividends = $95

That's if everything goes well and none of the autosurfs go under....But what if one did?

Let's replay that situation with 2 of the autosurfs going out of business:
we place 40 in each program and after 20 days should get back 800 dollars = $400 profit.
Lets's say 2 of the autosurfs go under and take everyones money :(
So we only receive $640 back = $240 in profit. The admin takes 10%, and 10% is placed back into Surf Pack value (more later) leaving $192 profit. This $192 is then given back to members in the form of dividends - $192 / 80 (total number of Surf Packs) = $2.40 dividend per Surf Pack owned.
member1 gets $2.40 X 10Surf Packs = $24
member2 gets $2.40 X 20Surf Packs = $48
member3 gets $2.40 X 50Surf Packs = $120

So all the members profited. And still own their Surf Packs which they can sell back at the current price!

Now remember above 10% was going back to Surf Pack value, what does this mean.
The 10% = $24 is placed back into the total Surf Pack value $24 / 80 Surf Packs = .30 per Surf Pack. The value of the Surf Pack just rose from $5.00 to $5.30!
So let's say member1 could now continue and wait for another dividend or sell his 10 Surf Packs back at $5.30 each giving him $53 + he earned $24 from the dividends = $77

Now, you may say - why don't I just put money into an autosurf myself? You can. But, by doing so you also take all the risk. For example, let's say you are member1 and instead of putting the $50 with http://autosurfs.biz you put the $50 with one of the autosurfs. And that autosurf goes out of business - you just lost everything! With http://autosurfs.biz you can never lose all your money, you either do not gain as much or you profit greatly!

If you have understood everything above congratulations we would like you to join the program, if you did not understand than just sit back and continue to autosurf, this program is for the advanced autosurfers. After the initial amount of our members join, then all future members will have to join through members ref links so that they can get the commissions as our way of saying thanks for being the first members to join. As of right now, there are no commissions and referrals will not count for anything. This is for APP and ASP members ONLY at this time.

We believe this is another step in the right direction of changing the autosurf industry and keeping members safe from losing money in the autosurf industry.

Thank you for everyone's continued support and we will continue and strive to keep trust and reliability in this industry.

Regards,
AlertPayPro/AutoSurfingPros Teams

Concerning how price fluctuates, read here:
We originally placed 125,000 dollars of our money to cover the costs of $5per surfpack while having 25000 surfpacks. So at the start of the program there was $125,000 in the system and 25000 surfpacks in the system. We then placed $25000 more into the system to use as our base (this will make more sense later) Money put into the program (surfpack purchases) is added to the base = current funds.
For example to get the price of the surfpack you could now take the current funds ($25000) divided by the number of shares (set at 25000) giving you 1. 1 times the base startprice of a surfpack(5) = 5
Now as money is added to the program (surfpacks purchased) that money is added to the base = currentfunds. For example if 2000 surfpacks are purchased a $5 each, then $5000 gets added to the base = $30000. To find the current price the system automatically takes the base(25000)+current funds(5000)=(30000) divided by the number of surfpacks(25000). 30000/20000=1.5. 1.5 times the base startprice(5) = 7.5. The current surfpack value is now 7.5. Remember the same occurs when surfpacks are sold just in reverse. If surfpacks are sold then less money is in the program and surfpack value decreases. Example, continuing with the numbers above. currently 30000 in and currently 7.5 is the surfpack value. lets say 500 surfpacks sold at 7.5 = 3750(that's minus from the current funds) 30000-3750 = 26250. 262500/25000=1.05X$5=$5.25 a surfpack. Buying increases value/selling decreases value. But even though selling decreases value, it actually increases the amount of returns. ie. if we receive a 5000 return and there are 5000 surfpacks in circulation, you will receive 5000/5000=$1 for every surfpack you own! Now if someone sells 1000 of their surfpacks - the value of the surfpack may decrese from 5.5 to 5.25 but now there are only 4000 surf packs in circulation. The 5000 dollar return is now divided amount 4000 surfpacks = 1.25 return to you per surfpack.

Compactsurfing closing temporarily

The PR blunder did its damage. The AS members did not upgrade enough and this led to this swift decision and once again, it showed how crucial a surf program must manage its perception of trust. I don't accept the egold reason they gave for shutting down and it is quite embarassing to mention the lack of members' upgrades as the real cause. Well for a start, the program indicated that it will start in a few months' time. Why so? I reckon Luuk and team still harbour a hope that their wider dream of a network of businesses will materialise. The new surf program will be 9 x 14% and is likely launched in 3 months' time.
Dear Compact Surfing Members,
I hope you will read this update closely, and consider all that I say here carefully, with the understanding that the Compact Network will be implementing further changes in the coming weeks, but we are here to stay for the long term as I have promised from the beginning.

As of today, Friday, June 16, 2006, Compact Surfing upgrades will be disabled. Allow me to clarify our reasons for doing this, and our plans for the coming weeks ahead:

1. The price of gold per ounce, as all of you know, has dropped significantly in the past several weeks. Because of this, the Egold funds in reserves that I had to maintain for the operation of CS diminished in value tremendously on a daily/weekly basis. There has been a 15 to 20% drop in the value of gold in the past several weeks, from above $700 an ounce in May to around $570 as I write this. What this means is that most upgrade values that were sent to CS and held online in order to provide the old trademark “fast payouts” dropped in $$$ value while waiting to be paid out. This has been occurring for weeks now. We persisted, believing there would be a turn around with the gold markets, that things would average out, but to date, this has not happened.

We’ve reevaluated the situation, and have decided now to stop taking upgrades until such time as the gold markets stabilize, we hope by mid-summer. We feel this is best for both the company and our members financially. Members have faced the same situation CS has when their payments arrive to their accounts and drop in value within hours…what took several days to build in profits has sometimes been diminished within hours, sitting in members Egold accounts. In accordance with this decision, the ability to upgrade to CS accounts will be disabled today.

For those who do not understand why drastic drops in Egold might affect the reserves of a program designed like CS, here’s why. The 3 cashout requests per month combined with the processing of requests every day of the week, and 48 hour “fast payment” meant we had to keep a majority of Network funds in reserve in Egold rather than offline. 48 hours was not long enough to move funds through exchangers online for payments or offline for protection of capital, especially on weekends when banks are closed. This is why, in our last newsletter, we established the 7-business day timeframe as being more realistic and manageable for the future of CS, however, since that last update, we have considered the situation further.

2. On June 9th, we processed nearly $500,000 USD in cashout requests. I continued to use the remaining funds left to pay as many requests as I could, and you can view a screenshot of all payments sent here:
http://compactsurfing.com/first1.PNG
http://compactsurfing.com/second2.PNG
http://compactsurfing.com/third3.PNG
3660 payments were sent the last 2 days and each single sent was paid.

Moving Forward: We are going to do refunds for members with pending requests, put the program on hold and relaunch in the summer, when hopefully the gold markets have stabilized and by which time I will have had time to implement Compactpay with features available and debit cards. All funds in my possession less operation costs will be used for refunds. In the coming weeks, the support staff will assist me in this work. Members in profit will not receive refunds. Those members not in profit will be returned a percentage of their initial upgrade purchase dependant upon the total available for distribution. Earnings and referral commissions will be deducted from your pendings in our calculations. Please be advised that I am doing this despite the fact that our terms have always stipulated that upgrade purchases are non-refundable.

3. All Compactpay members with funds in CP, please rest assured that your funds are secure. I will announce next week the procedure for how returns of whatever you funded into your Compactpay accounts will be executed. After the funds have been removed from the system, during the next few weeks, the database for Compact Pay will be inaccessible to members as my programmers and I work to implement features which I have not had the chance to dedicate time to. Please be patient and I will update further regarding this in the coming weeks. For those members who have made recent Bank Wire Fundings, I cannot address those until next week when the bank is open so please be patient with this as well.

With that said, the following actions will be taken in the coming weeks. The Compact Network will be relaunched at the end of August/early September and I have decided for now that the following three sites will be the focus of my time and resources: Compact Surfing, Compact Lottery, and Compact Pay

A. Compact Surfing

1. Expect a new layout and design to the site. The site will offer 14% daily for 9 days on your upgrade purchases tentatively. Upgrade units will be $10 USD each and the maximum member balance with active upgrades will be $10,000 USD. Payout Timeframe: Upgrades will become pending in your Cashout History automatically upon expiration. They will be processed within 7 business days following date of expiration. No more having to request cashout. This setup is perfectly clear on when members will be paid. In addition, I will know exactly what is needed ready in my online payment processor accounts each week to process payouts. As such, I can store the majority of funds offline accordingly so that we are no longer at the mercy of gold price fluctuations.

2. Compact forum will still be in place; possibly changed to vbulletin format as I have received feedback requesting this from members.

3. More details to be announced when available.

B. Compact Lottery

1. Expect a new layout and design to the site

2. No more purchasing tickets from cash balance; you will be able to purchase directly from Egold and tentatively Compactpay as well. Winners will be paid within 5 business days following announcement of weekly lucky numbers.

3. Cash prizes will be greater in amount, though the number of winners will be less than the past track record to allow for ease of management in distributing payment of prizes. The amounts for Weekly prizes will be announced on the site as well. Distribution of rewards still to be determined by the administrator.

C. Compact Pay

1. I will work in the coming weeks to develop relationships with exchangers to bring on board to offer funding/withdrawal options for Compact Pay that they will handle individually and efficiently.

3. I welcome any member suggestions with regards to implementing debit cards. Compact Debit Cards are still planned, but due to the current situation, andrecent comments made by members regarding their wishes for certain cards, I have cancelled our previous order for cards. For those of you who prefer Cardoneplus over Virtual Money, and vice versa, please contact Nvus with your reasoning and he will forward me details and I will make a final decision in the coming weeks: cn_nvus@yahoo.com

4. The Shopping
Cart Interface will be made available and upgrades/cashouts through CS via CompactPay will be available as well to coincide with relaunch of CS.

Expect further announcements from me in the comingdays. The Compact Network is here to stay and we are not going anywhere, I assure you all. After 3 months of hard work and dedication I will not give up and I ask that you do not give up on me now either. We have faced obstacles beyond our control in the past several weeks, but the above plan of action will allow us to return, stronger than ever. Thank you all for your continued support.

Sincerely Yours,

Luuk Hendriks
Altus Financial Services Inc.

Virtual Money Cards

ASA sent me an email a week ago about Virtual Money Cards and for every program that uses Virtual Money Card, ASA does due diligence. Later they sent me another clarification email saying that there are good surf programs that don't use VM too. In other words, VM is a possibly a good predictor, but not the sole one. Of the 7 programs, I am in 5 of them. ASA is a decent place for good surf programs that last long and this is my endorsement. Below are excerpts from their email:
Dear ASA Members-
The landscape of the PTC industry has changed immensely as of late. The fall of PhoenixSurf and WiredSurf have served as reminders that even the biggest programs are vulnerable. Many members have asked us why we don't just simply tell them where to put their money. That's a good question! We have always tried to stay away from promoting sites, sticking to the facts. We let you decide...

We'll give credit where credit is due. We've compiled a list of 7 programs with a solid foundation, proven performance, honest and ethical admins, and the myriad enhancements that separate them from rest of the pack. In short, this is where WE put OUR big money. These are the programs we trust; the ones worthy of your consideration:

1. 24DailyPro
2. Fast Profits Club (I am in.)
3. NowDollar (VM) (I am in.)
4. 13DailyPro (I am in.)
5. AlertPayPro
6. Autosurfing Pros (VM) (I am in.)
7. Alien Trust (VM) (I am in.)

All of these programs have VM integration or are considering using it. The Virtual Money (VM) programs provide extra security for you and your money. Virtual Money, Inc. requires ASA to perform due diligence on each program that wants to use VM. We must decline programs who do not meet our criteria. In other words, if a program takes VM, it's a pretty good bet they're not a scam.

We hope this helps. There's no reason to spend a dime on another program until you've at least considered these. Yes, there are other solid programs out there, but these top our list. We're pretty risk-averse ... we're betting most of you are as well!

Finally, we'd like to ask for your help with something. If you're in a program that doesn't use VM, please request it from their respective admins. Clamor for it ...demand it! Rampage the forums. Put up polls. Please...we need your help in legitimizing this industry and making your money safe is the best way to do that. ASA isn't just Todd and Jake and our staff. It's YOU and every other member. Please make a contribution!

Nowdollar Due Diligence

Here is another due diligence done on Nowdollar. In particular, one of the strongest selling points is that Lance Barron, the admin of Nowdollar, is a real person and has appeared in ASA videocast live before. No attempt is made to hide his identity. Read Dreamteammoney Post on Nowdollar Due Diligence. We are still early in the surf play with membership just over 2000. Get onboard! I got paid many times already.

The Perception Game and Compactsurfing

It has been a long 7 days since I last updated simply I was overseas and just came back yesterday. I alway say a month is a long time for a surf. In a week, a lot of things have happened which I will comment on one big one.

Compactsurfing as we all know, has now reverted its payment terms to 7 business days after cashout, which I have always considered a flag. My personal view is that Compactsurfing has totally bungled the PR effort, and here I considered the critical skills a surf program needs to acquire if it is to grow big. It did wrongly on the perception game as follows:

1. Abrupt changes. The autosurfer hates sudden changes to TOS and every change is an indication of a suspicion of a red flag. Here Compactsurfing could have done a better job by announcing its intentions to extend the payout period beforehand say 1 month before.

2. Delaying some payments before the all-important announcement. Again, this is such a big mistake which could have been easily avoided should they plan ahead their cashflow!

3. Lack of communication by admin. Luuk was reported not to be around in the forum when payments are emerging to be a problem. His late entrance did not boost confidence as it was followed by an announcement to stretch the payout period.

What are the solutions if any surf program is to make changes in terms of payout? The best scenario is not to change ever at all. Understanding many surf programs' desire to get money, they want to pay fast to build confidence. If it is, announce simply that the first month is a promotional one for fast returns within 48 hours. On the second month, suggest that it will revert to the original terms and stop at there. The monthly ROI is now at 25% - pretty low for a surf. Well, folks, get real! We have been seduced by the 'unimaginable' high yields and make it 'imaginable' in our games! As of now, the surf world is watching how compactsurfing is handling its reputed returns come today. This is why a reserve is important. Being able to pay fast and promptly in the next 2 weeks, confidence will be restored. Secondly as long as there are external revenues driving this program, these can be used to support the site.

After doing so well, it breaks the cardinal rules that enable the surf to do well. I consider it as a real pity and they should really get Charis Johnson to be their consultant how to manage this perception game. Secondly, keep ample reserves for such an event so that it can make payouts convincingly. Payouts is the BIG thing that matter. Also, it can do a reverse trick by paying everybody faster than 7 business days. In that case, trust is rebuilt again and spends will come in.

Can we go in to Compactsuring? I supposed I don't need to speak the obvious. May the payments be restored to install confidence in Compactsurfing again.

eDatasurf Closed

Ramesh, the admin sent all its members to announce a sad decison. Edatasurf will be closed effective from 10 Jun 2006. Refunds are now undergoing. What is the basis for Ramesh's decision? Afterall, his site is highly promising and he has a good gameplan which he confirmed to me personally. Here are important exerpts from Ramesh's thinking and feelings:
Well, I started this program only to help fellow surfers to earn better. I sketched every plan right from day one how to project the site, how to pay all you know. I don’t have to explain it again. Profits: I never expected any huge profit from eDs for myself.

Last 5 days I wasn’t in good mood at all. I have to deal with some forum gentlemen who called me liar, cheater whatever the best they can. I have true intentions to run the site at top level. But when I am paying properly, maintaining high customer relationship still do I need to listen these?

Well a scammer can listen to all those and leave it simply. Bcoz his only intention is to scam. I am not here to scam anyone. We had very big attacks upto 50GB traffic in one single day. We survived all. Without protection this is highly impossible. But some people always tried to put eDs down from day 3 if I am right. Simply they tried everything to put eDs down.

We are here. Still standing tall. But the question in my mind is simple. Do I need to run eDs listening to all these people?

Well payouts or refunds? What shall I decide? I am not able to sleep reading those posts. People who dealt with me before eDs days knows about me. I never ever had scam intentions. But I am not able to see my wife crying reading those posts. I too have a heart and 2 lovely children. Those people who called me a liar please I request at least after this leave me to sleep peacefully. I am exactly accepting what are you expecting. Yes I am closing down. I cannot listen to those wordings again.

Well saying this I request members to understand we are financially very strong. I have no intention to close the site till now too. Well I can’t see my wife crying. She got nothing to do with this business. But she read those posts. Sorry I lost my sleep for last some days. You all know how hard I worked on those 5 days when we had attacks. I almost worked non-stop. I forgot even my children’s face. In fact refund amount is bigger than payout amount of this week. This is the right proof that I am not closing the site bcoz of financial crisis.

When I see my family I have to decide this. I am working 16 hours a day. Most of the part what eats my time is investments. Not a very simple work. Very big work. I am a single man have to handle investments. Read a lot, calculate everyday. I am really tired plus handling whiners, attackers and black mailers.

My heart felt apologies for not able to fulfill my promise of making eDs big. I had that only aim to make eDs as big as possible. But I am sorry. Some wordings can change life. I don’t want to deal with the likes of some forum people. I am no scammer. But sure I am a loser at present.

I assure none of you will lose your original purchased money. Maximum of the members are known to me or close to me. I will never put you down. Please don’t worry.

Not like some programs says, “we are refunding” kind of wordings are not here. I promise I will refund each and every one of you without fail.

I am sorry for things happening beyond my control. When it comes to family, I have no choice but to decide with family. I request members to please understand me. I won’t scam anyone and your refunds will hit for sure.

My thinking is that the family consideration is the Key on Ramesh's decision. He is running a AS site with only his cousin as a helper. Come on, this is a big job for a fast-growing site - he has to reply to emails, go to the forums, do payments, programming the site, site admin etc. Naturally, his immediate family especially his wife, will get a hit. His wife isn't happy that Ramesh is spending so much time to meet the ever-increasing demands of its members. The trigger comes when a member of HYIPdiscussion forum alleged the possibility of Ramesh lying by not having prolexic as claimed. See HYIPdiscussion Thread on eDatasurf. Ramesh provided the necessary proofs and the reference person to talk in Prolexic, and all in all, I reckon there is no issue of Ramesh lying. In the internet, one could not lie and get away. Anyway, some of the allegations are based on utter lack of technical understanding of the forumers on how an anti-DDOS system work. It is also the manner in which the allegation is made perhaps a softer approach will be better. Mrsvee, an expert in such things, later confirmed it as well. Refunds are now on the way for everybody, and however, there is talk to have Ramesh consider getting an admin team to help in running eDatasurf if there is ever a possibility of resuscitating it. See Discussion on AC Cafe. It is a pity this one ends so early as I think it has so much potential to become a Top Surf Play and we are still hoping some good solution will come out of it.

9 Jun 2006 - Top 10 Surfs

Here again I reviewed my Top 10 Surfs as I ranked them in my portfolio. It has been 25 days since I last updated! Sorry guys, it takes time for me to sit down and write. I am taking my time to compile this blog for the benefit of all. In a surf play, 25 days is a long time! From the last review on 15 May, 9 surfs stay in the Top 10 and only 1 surf is removed due to closure - not bad! Basically, I need to let you there are 2 types of plays in my Top 10 which I put together: the first are those with a certain longevity comprising normally 50% of the Top 10 and the other 50% is about surfs which I reckon are in the running to make money as they gain popularity. The early bird catches its worm provided you found the RIGHT KIND of bird. Read all my articles of being a Gamer, a mentality to see these autosurfs and HYIPs and making money out of it. Going in early will not make money if the sites do not have what it takes to be good plays and again, we always speak of probability and not certainty as gamers. If you game, this blog's reviews is for you!

Here they are my Top 10:
1. Compactsurf
2. Nowdollar
3. Surfing Frenzy
4. Xperthits
5. eDataSurf
6. Gladiator
7. Solidtrust
8. Netinvestautosurf
9. Dadndaves
10. 13dailypro - New Entry

Commentary (those in):

1. Compactsurf - It is undoubtedly the TOP PLAY not just here but also the whole internet. Its membership has surpassed 20,000. CompactPay has just been launched. We are talking about the possibility of the next 12dailypro and remember it is far lower yielding than 12dailypro, 40-50% monthly ROI and it is the only one of the two Surf Plays to have the expensive Prolexic as its anti-DDOS system. Mind you, that is expensive and it just got installed recently. It is only one that seeks to diversify into other income sources which is good for longevity. As long as there is no negative perception, it got a chance. It has just completed its 3rd Month so far. I have decided to let it stay in my Top 10. So far it has shifted its payout period to 4 days from 2 days. There are some neurotic noises from Autosurfers but it is not enough to shake me as yet but I think it wil be still ok unless it could not meet obligations for the 4-day period. Ultimately, it should move to 7-day period when membership grows enormously. I am rooting to be the next 12dailypro that it will stay to live beyond 6 months, preferably even a year. This site has done everything right and smooth so far, but I will switch my view at the slightest hint of trouble. Read more in Smartcash's Review on Compactsurfing

2. Nowdollar - Still very much in low profile as I get enquiries on it every now and then. It is picking lots of interests in the blogs but not yet in the forums! So it is still an early play. It did well to pass the DDOS test with flying colors. Now the site is undergoing revamp while still allowing us to surf. Short of repeating myself, read the Smartcash's Review on Nowdollar

3. Surfing Frenzy - 20% monthly yield and seriously, I know Lucki and Suzanna the admins through Yahoo Group Forum for which we are all members. They are thoroughly honest folks and pay very promptly always within 24 hours after expiry of upgrade. If you want an honest surf, get involved in this one. This one confirms that they have outside business streams and they are great gamers as well. Lucki's List and Suzanna's Interested People Group have got a list of plays but mostly, they are the kind who take good calculated conservative risks with a sprinkling of some high-risk at times. It drops a notch down as Nowdollar gets a better yield!

4. Xperthits - From members' enquiry about this program thru my blog, I realise this program is now private. I have checked with Mel Jones and she will be opening her program at a time yet to be announced. Her site pays 1% for 180 days, again on the low side compared to other surf programs but she will not run away with my money!

5. eDataSurf - Ramesh has got himself a DDOS protection for his site and when we are surfing now, we don't realise it but it has got prolexic non-IP version, which is likely to be upgraded to the IP version once membership hits a certain status. This will be the next big thing soon. I sign up really fast on it and it shoots right up to the Top 10 here. I reckon this site will last for a while, and Ramesh has indicated that he has outside business streams ie being an egold exchanger in India, edatamerge etc.

6. Gladiator - Michael Soliven is still paying with 24 hours after expiry. Not a bad record! It is one of the most active in working to get referral income thru his list. From a program's perspective, I think it is a good thing to earn outside income and not be overally dependent on members' upgrades. My only concern is that it is approaching into the 3rd month of existence and it is moving in a danger zone. Overall, it is a near 70% monthly ROI surf, kind of high yield in my view. I will be taking a more serious look on its sustainability soon.

7. Solidtrust - The 1% surf which the owners, Marc and Stella, are one of the best communicating. If you take a look at the site, this one tries to have other sources of income thru advertising, and they have listed their businesss registration number in the site. It has been around for 3-odd months already and in terms of yield, I don't think they have problems delivering returns at the moment.

8. Netinvestautosurf This program pays 1% every day for 250 days - somewhat lower yield but frankly, I reckon this program will last long. The sister program, Netinvesthyip, rakes in 15% return on its debut. Not bad! Alex Maina is going to get this AS program to stay private and focus more on the HYIP which is forex-driven. Alex is realistic about its yields and if you want an honest play, this is it. Get involved in the HYIP, and if you need a referral from me, drop me an email.

9. Dadndaves - Again, I downgraded Dadndaves a few notches from my last review. I have to be objective about money but I am quietly rooting for this to roar again. It is in a tough stage due to its commitment to pay members' funds due from Scampay's crime. It has been real tough on them as they have lost a lot of money on other autosurfs and HYIPs as a result of Scampay's fiasco. Dave has to draw from his personal funds and this is a gallant man. Now the key thing is for Dave to identify programs which make sense and yields 1% or even less a day, allows for compounding daily or weekly. In other words, all he needs to do is to get into programs that yield above 30% a month. I think that is achievable with the right contacts, good sources of income flow and revert to the old biz model to garner referral income which Dave is doing. Notice in his site, he is recommending good safe plays. That pretty says much about Dave.

10. 13dailypro. It has hit MMG Top 10 in terms of pageviews. It is growing in interest and its payment is the fastest in town - within 24 hours, sometimes 1 or 2 hours! I am impressed and if a site can pay very fast, it has room to grow. I have been paid a few rounds already. Read Smartcash's Review on 13dailypro

Those out of Top 10: (since last update)

Epaysurf. Kent has quit the game and blamed it on members. I got nothing to say he was a great communicator but we all know it is a game. As I can't seriously verify this soap opera story, let us just move on. Whether it is a scam or not, it is for one's emotions, and certainly not useful in making your mark or MONEY as a gamer. Read his comments below:

Sorry for the delay in getting any kind of an update to you.

As many of you know, we have been having difficulties getting funds from the broker which I was using. It has been a real nightmare trying to get funds back to me to make payouts.

Funds are beginning to move, but we have run into another problem. This is a problem which is very serious. It seems that there are a number of members and non-members alike that have decided long ago to take EPay Surf down with whatever means that they could. At this point, it seems that they have succeeded.

It is with great great sorrow and sadness of heart, that I am announcing the closure of EPay Surf and all of its programs. With the different investigations, charge backs and other junk that has been thrown at me during this time, I cannot continue forward with EPay Surf nor any of its programs.

Over the past many weeks, I have told you that once I get the funds, the payouts will begin. Apparently these nay sayers would not take me at my word and began a campaign to take EPay Surf down. It sickens me to have to close the doors on something that could have helped so many people.

Privy Opps members will receive full refunds as soon as the funds hit my account. Epay Surf members will get refunds until the money runs out, after the funds run out for refunds, then we will officially be closed and out of business. Refunds will come when I get the funds, no sooner. Chargebacks are just another way to delay this process. And incidentally, I will be paying out the EPay Surf supporters first and then working down the line from there. I know who the supporters are, so dont try to sweet talk me now. You bash a program, you better be prepared for the consequences.

It has been a hard road these past couple of months, and the thing that makes me so irritated is the fact that we could have made it out of this hole, if only people would have trusted me and been a little more patient and alot less vicious. I have never been called the things that people were calling me in my life. Never been accused of the things that I was accused of in my entire life. (None of which were true).

It seems though, that if people dont need to face you, they can say anything and get away with it. Most of the people that said these things are cowards to the core and would be afraid to face me one on one. They blow alot of hot air, but are empty shells inside and they love to strike out and hurt others no matter what the cost, and in this case, the cost was EPay Surf.

When I first entered this arena, it was with the sincere desire to help people. I truly think, given another couple of weeks, that we could have pulled this thing out and really made it big. But I am tired, and fed up with the garbage that people are pitching. I really dont need the stress anymore.

What does the future hold? Well, in all honesty I am not sure what direction to pursue. I think there is still a core group of members that would like to see me proceed forward with something a little smaller. Perhaps I will do that. At this point I am really not sure. We will just have to see where things go.

So with all of that said, and with a tearful good bye, I bid you all a pleasant and heartfelt good-bye. Thanks to the great supporters of this program. Thanks to those of you that sent so many emails, that truly kept me going. Thanks to everyone that worked so hard to make EPay Surf what it was. I am sorry that I let you down, and I hope that you will forgive me.

Best Regards.

Kent

6 Jun 2006 - Review about Probability in HYIP Gameplay

This was an old article in Goldentalk Forum but it is in line with my notions of strategy and principles in gameplay for HYIPs. Click Study of Probability to read.

There are 2 groups of people in the world of AS and HYIP. The first looks for genuine investments and they get disgusted with the ponzis and scams etc. You find a lot of such people in HYIPdiscussion, Goldentalk, PCF forum etc. However, the record has been pretty mixed in terms of success as even so-called genuine programs turn out to be scams or unworkable after a while. Even if they have a chance to make money thru scams, these fellows will still abhor such possibilities. The second group couldn't be bothered whether it is real investments or not. They just want to make money, do their hits and run tactics whatsoever. Even if it is declared a ponzi or scam, they will still want to get involved.

I will not deal with ethics here as far as I am concerned which group you wish to belong. Frankly it is your own call. However, I am not exactly comfortable nor wish to get involved with programs that are obviously scamming. I mean all the signs are clearcut and secondly, for an important reason, these scammers are more wily than each of us can imagine. So my advice is to avoid them like plague, and you are likely to lose if you want to match wits with them.

What then is a gamer? As a gamer, one basically gives the benefit of doubt to all high-yielding programs being genuine through a criteria. Due to the lack of complete transparency in internet programs, we normally resort to making intelligent guesses how genuine a program can get. This first criteria deals with authenticity or honesty. Secondly, we follow thru another criteria for those programs that have a strong chance to give you a good ROI and likely to continue for a longer period. This second one deals with competence.

End of day, we are here to make money, and NOT to do charity. Honesty of a program is not good enough if you wish to follow the criteria for authenticity alone. It is both honesty and competence that we want to see in programs. Hence it is all about this important notion of probability. The earlier we develop the skills how to examine and size up odds, the better you become as a gamer.

On the right-hand section of the blog entitled 'Secrets for success in AS', you will find a collection of articles that I wish to build up and they contain valuable tips and tricks about becoming a good gamer in this world of AS and HYIPs. I will make an effort to compile to the benefit of all who are following my thoughts and philosophical musings.

May you be successful in online ventures!
